Although these air stones do what they should, create air bubbles, for some reason they become discoloured in the tank although there is nothing of that colour (orange-pink) that could cause the change, not even the food (there is also no substrate in the tank).
If you want to hide them under gravel or decor, they would probably work fine, but if you have minimal deco an/or no substrate you should avoid these particular airstones
