Nice little package, nothing broken, not cheap parts. works beauty.. Should have ordered some for all my tanks and pond filters..

I use this item in a 135g tank, using cheap but nice air pump with it; as you likely know, this filter (or two, they are quite inexpensive) can provide a bio-filter roughly equal to a quite good sized Under Gravel filter, and as I rarely plant theme based tanks, i.e. African Cichlid or Black water Amazon tank, etc., my substrate is too thin too support plants ( I could use Java Fern and moss in the Black water (S.A.) tank I guess, where they should get enough (read modest amount) light when the Java Fern rhizome is tied to a root near the surface if I wasn’t so OCD about S.A. tanks using only S.A. material, etc–I’ll just pretend that the aqauarium and support equipments were all made in Amazonia ). Anyway, that’s why this unit is perfect for me( only maintence is sqeezing a couple of times in a bucket of tank water, leaving it cleanish, but still bacteria laden ). Cheap and yet very effective. A excellent product and does not take up tank floor space. I would highly recommend.
